Khalidi tours local universities, addresses Israeli-Arab conflict

A visit by Rashid Khalidi, a prominent expert on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, to Wayne State on Oct. 11 is noted. In her introduction of Khalidi to an audience at the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium, May Seikaly, chair of the Near Eastern and Asian Studies Department, mentioned that he is part of "the new generation of Arab-American scholars that have belonged to the old world and to the new world."
